Allyson Zoellner specializes in strategic planning, organizational assessments, brand architecture and positioning, and all facets of marketing and communications. She brings to Mosaic and its clients more than 30 years of strategic and tactical marketing, communications, and organizational operations experience.
Allyson has extensive executive level expertise in multiple financial arenas, including retirement services, banking, asset management, and payment processing. Within these organizations, she has gained significant experience working with the public sector, including the boards and executive staffs of public sector retirement systems and deferred compensation plans.
Prior to joining Mosaic, Allyson was vice president of marketing for First Data Corporation, the world’s largest payment technology solutions company. She led government, healthcare, and education marketing, and was integral in developing the contract-winning strategy for the 1040-S business for the IRS.
As senior vice president and chief marketing officer at Old Mutual Capital and Old Mutual Investment Partners, as well as vice president and head of marketing at Great-West Retirement Services and INVESCO Retirement Services, Allyson’s strategic bent, combined with a competitive spirit, creativity and strong teams, enabled these firms to differentiate and distinguish themselves in the marketplace. The results of her teams’ efforts included earning new clients, gaining market strength, increasing retention, and receiving many awards for marketing and communications excellence.
While at Great-West (now Empower Retirement), Allyson’s custom communications programs and dedicated client relationship management helped win 13 government partnerships. She collaborated with Amy McDuffee to build Advised Assets Group, a Great-West registered investment advisor subsidiary, to deliver groundbreaking investment consulting, management and advisory products to retirement services plan sponsors and their participants.
Allyson holds a bachelor’s of science in finance and marketing from the University of Colorado’s Leeds School of Business. She serves on the board of trustees for the Town of Foxfield, Colorado, and was integral to the original development and ongoing stewardship of the town’s master plan.
